猪苗代湖が突然出現
1611年(慶長16)のこの日、会津地方をマグニチュード6.9 の大地震が襲った。この地震で会津川、只見川が崩れた土砂によって塞がれ、多数の沼を形成し、突如として猪苗代湖が出現した。

The Inawashiro lake appears suddenly.
The large earthquake of magnitude 6.9 overcame the Aizu area on this day of 1611(Keityou-16th). It was closed with earth and sand that collapsed the Aizu river and the Tadami river due to this earthquake, and a lot of marshes were formed, and the Inawashiro lake appeared suddenly.
